ECC Notebook:

C.W. Post: C.W. Post advanced to the NCAA Championship tournament and captured a 9-4 win over rival Adelphi University, spoiling the Panthers' perfect record (16-1). Junior attacker Jackie Napoli tallied four goals in the game while senior Lauren Scipione made 15 saves to help the Pioneers advance to the championship game.  In the final, junior attacker Katie Hogan scored three goals and added an assist but it was not enough to overcome West Chester as the Golden Rams pulled away with a 13-12 win.  Senior Mallory Poole made two goals, including a free-position shot with two ticks left on the clock. Poole finished her career with 137 goals, second on the all-time list at C.W. Post.  Senior Elaine Williams completed her career with 130 goals.  The program's seven graduating seniors helped the Pioneers to a combined 61-8 record and national title in 2007 in four years at C.W. Post.
