To kick off May 2023 Promotions with a bang, they plan on making it MTA Appreciation Day. This day shows them giving back to the community by allowing fans to get subway train cars on May 1st. The day after that they celebrate the healthcare workers and make it Healthcare Appreciation Day. With the hard work that the healthcare workers provide we would like to give our support with stickers on May 2nd. On May 2nd, stickers will be given out to everyone in the stadium upon entry. For May 3rd, they plan to give out drawstring Yankee bags to everyone in attendance. Everyone that is in attendance for the day will get a drawstring bag with the Yankees logo. On May 8th, they are making a special giveaway for the fans that enter the stadium who will be awarded a Bernie Williams pin. 4x World Series Champion, Bernie Williams was a Yankee who wore #51 so we honor him through the pins. On May 9th, the Yankees team will celebrate the FDNY and announce it as FDNY Appreciation Day. FDNY will be honored as the team will have a special patch given to 10,000 fans. For May 10th, the Yankees are shifting into school mode by handing out school day Yankee pencils to students. Although early, it gets students prepared for the upcoming year of school. For May 11th, they are giving out Volpe shirts to the fans in the stadium. Anthony Volpe plays Shortstop for the New York Yankees and what a time to do a special on the 11th for fans for #11 of the New York Yankees. On May 12th, they are celebrating the NYPD and announcing it as NYPD Appreciation Day. For the NYPD Appreciation Day, they are giving out Anthony Rizzo bobble heads. On May 13th, all kids in attendance receive a baseball with the Yankees logo. For May 14th, pink Yankee jerseys will be given out to moms in attendance. On May 23rd, mini bats will be given to kids 15 and younger. On May 24th, it marks the day for little leagues in which they will receive a Yankees poster. For May 25th, fans in attendance will receive an Aaron Judge poster. On May 26th, fans who attend the game will be given a Roger Maris bobblehead. On May 27th fans in attendance will receive a replica ring for kids 15 and younger. To end it all, we finish the May 2023 Promotion with Memorial Day Yankee shirts on May 28th . The fans in attendance will receive a Memorial Day Yankee shirt and that will be the final event for the May 2023 Promotion.  The New York Yankees are coming off a season of a 99-63 record. The Yankees right now are barely over .500 being 16-15, but continue to show fight and are proud to be a Yankee. In the Yankees last time out, they were outplayed by the Texas Rangers, only scoring 2 to their 15.
