Los Angeles, California- On Sunday, June 19th the Los Angeles Dodgers are celebrating Juneteenth by giving out hats to the first 10,000 fans that enter the stadium. The Dodgers want to celebrate the history of African Americans and the end of the Civil War. The hats will be offered at every entrance of the stadium and the size will be one size fit all.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have shown numerous times that they are proud to celebrate the history of African Americans throughout the world but also those that share same the love of baseball. With Dodgers being the first team to sign an African American, the organization has shown that they are diverse in every department and love to find talent from all ethnicities. On June 19th the Dodgers want to show their appreciation to all African Americans by giving away free hats.
The hat will be one size fit all snapback, covered in blue. The Dodgers logo will be on the back with the word Juneteenth on the front with a Jackie Robinson’s number on the left side and with a Pan-African flag on the right side. The hat is acknowledging the day of Juneteenth by putting on African flag the hat to celebrate African Americans from all across the world. Last is the Jackie Robinson retired number, who is famously known as the first African American to play in the Major Leagues.

The Dodgers are owned by Guggenheim Baseball Management and one of the most famous part owners is Magic Johnson. The team rival is their neighbor north, the San Francisco Giants.
