Two Dowling Lacrosse Alumni to Begin Pro Career This Weekend

Oakdale, NY-  Dowling Lacrosse Alumni Nick Cotter and Ryan Campbell will begin their professional lacrosse careers this weekend for the National Lacrosse League. 

Ryan Campbell, drafted in the 1st round with the 10th overall pick by the Edmonton Rush, was a four year starter for the Golden Lions.  Campbell finished his career third all-time with 129 goals, second all-time with 89 assists, and second all-time with 218 total points.  His team will face the Calgary Roughnecks at 9PM on January 10th.   

Nick Cotter, also a four year starter for Dowling, was picked in the second round with the 14th overall pick by the Boston Blazers.  As a three-time All-American at Dowling, Cotter finished his career with 113 goals, 137 total points, and 118 groundballs.  The Blazers will face the New York Titans this Saturday at 7:00pm.
