For the fifth straight week the East Coast Conference has
dominated the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse
Association’s NCAA Division II national rankings with five
teams in the poll.
C.W. Post continues to lead the ECC contingency in the polls,
coming in at No. 3. The Pioneers continued their winning streak by
defeating both Wheeling Jesuit and Lake Erie in blowouts last week.
The victories moved C.W. Post to 13-1 on the season.
Following up the Pioneers is Mercyhurst at No.4, followed by Dowling at No. 5.
Mercy continues the run off ECC members in the poll, coming in at No. 7. The Mavericks dropped one spot to No. 7 despite going 2-0 last week to move to 10-1 on the season. Mercy will host C.W. Post this Saturday in a pivotal ECC Championship.
Rounding out the ECC members on the poll is NYIT, who also remains at No. 8.
Limestone continues to be an unanimous choice in the No. 1 spot in the poll. Limestone is the only undefeated team left in Division II with a 14-0 record.
