Molloy Men's Lacrosse Partakes in Walk for Autism at Burns Park

Massapequa, N.Y. - On Sunday morning, the Molloy College men's lacrosse team collaborated with the local Long Island community, joining in the fifth-annual Town of Oyster Bay Walk for Autism, held at John J. Burns Town Park in Massapequa, N.Y. All of the proceeds from the walk aided in autism awareness, and benefited the Fay J. Lindner Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities.

"The kids did a good thing for a great cause," said Head Coach Eric Petrullo (Massapequa, N.Y.). "They had a great time, and there was a tremendous turnout at the event. Our athletes really wanted to help out with it."

Head Coach Eric Petrullo and his Molloy squad will begin the 2013 season at home on Sunday, Feb. 24, welcoming American International College to the Dean G. Skelos Sports Complex in Rockville Centre, N.Y. The opening faceoff is set for 1 p.m.
