Stephanie Cotter, Dowling (Jr., M, Ridge, N.Y / Longwood) - Posted a game and season high six points (5g, 1a) in the ECAC Championship against Molloy. She also scooped up five ground balls in the win.

Cassandra Cronin, Dowling (Fr., M, Islip Terrace, N.Y. / East Islip) - Scored five goals as Dowling defeated Molloy 18-8 to win the ECAC Championship. For her efforts, she was named the game's most outstanding player
ECC Notebook
ECC: In the most recent IWLCA Division II national poll (5/5), Adelphi was the nation's top ranked team, while C.W. Post was No. 3 and New Haven was No. 9 ... Adelphi and C.W. Post have been selected to the NCAA Division II final four (four-team tournament) and will face off May 15th in Houston, Tex. The winner advances to face the winner of Limestone and West Chester. The championship will be broadcast live on CBS College Sports Network (formerly CSTV) at 1:00 p.m. May 17th.
Dowling: Dowling finished its inaugural season 10-5 winning the ECAC Division II Championship, topping ECC rival Molloy College 18-8. Cassandra Cronin was named the game's most outstanding player, scoring 5 goals. Stephanie Cotter also had 5 goals and an assist and Vanessa Moreira had 3 goals, 9 ground balls, 6 draw controls and 5 caused turnovers. As a team, the Golden Lions led the NCAA in ground balls per game averaging 35.6 and caused turnovers, averaging 13.47.
