For the third consecutive week to start the season, the C.W. Post and Dowling women’s lacrosse teams represent the East Coast Conference in the IWLCA Division II National Rankings.

C.W. Post jumps up a spot to the No. 2 position after beginning their season with victories over Southern New Hampshire and Georgian Court. The Pioneers previously held the second spot in the preseason poll, before dropping to No. 3 for one week.

The Golden Lions remain in the tenth spot in the poll for the second consecutive week. Dowling is also off to a 2-0 start in 2011, with wins over St. Anselm and Georgian Court.

Two-time defending National Champion, Adelphi, currently holds the top spot in the poll.
